thexfile: perhaps we can start a Minority Support Group as i LOVE THE FIXX as well!! One of the continually-baffling cases that they've been relegated to the 'where are they now' category as the musicianship & lyricism has always been stellar. I was lucky enough to see them in 1985 when they incongruously opened for the main act Beach Boys, of whom i was never a fan (minus mental case Brian of course) and then the concert was closed by the kick-ass Moody Blues. Great stuff. And thanks to the uploader for the increasingly-rare UPLOADED LINKS which should be MANDATORY on this site.

I LOVE the Fixx. Shall we have the support groups meet on Mondays?

I saw them at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on their Phantoms tour in 1984. I seem to recall Dez Dickerson (ex-Prince guitarist) opening, which would be an off combination. I also remember their bassist, Dan Brown, with his ubiquitous bowler, not moving an inch during the show. And Cy Curnin writhing around onstage most of the night. That and his odd FIXXation with his hands.

And YES(!) to the Uploaded links!!

A huge thanks for this great upload!
