The music of Pink Floyd has captivated fans all over the globe, leading their audience to new realms of music and sound. Pink Floyd has often been praised for their fearless journey beyond the borders of music. THE REGGAE TRIBUTE TO PINK FLOYD leads a similar journey to the crossroads of two worlds: reggae and classic rock. It is on eclectic blend of horns, percussion, guitar and vocals. This unique tribute celebrates Pink Floyd's timeless masterpieces like "Mother" and "Another Brick in the Wall." Each of the tracks is a trip to new island soundscapes — with a group of phenomenal musicians as your guide. More than anything, this is uplifting music that conjures visions of beaches, sunshine, and good times. Great for pool parties and warm vacations.

I just love this album. Which is kind of weird, as i felt i should hate it. Reggae, are they for real. After all, we are talking Pink Floyd, right ? But you know what, i played this album on a warm summers night with the BBQ fired up and a cool beer in the hand, and by all that's holy, it just blew me away. Smooth, easy listening with a tip of the hat to the boys. Maybe its not everyone's cup of tea ( or coffee ) but, yeah its ok with me.

This is the worst "reggae" tribute album I have ever heard in my life. Most of the songs are done in a ska style, totally ruining them. For example, "Hey You" would have fared much better in a "one drop" style, making it more palatable, listenable and enjoyable. "Run Like Hell" away from this album! It sounds like crap compared to "Dub Side Of The Moon". David Gilmour & Roger Waters should sue the company that released this farce!
