Clubhouse Records are delighted to announce the release of 'Introducing Cale Tyson' a thirteen track album featuring the rising country star's first two highly acclaimed Eps, 'High On Lonesome' and 'Cheaters Wine'. Cale Tyson is a singer and songwriter from Nashville, TN. Born in a small town in Texas, he was raised in Fort Worth, the home of Townes Van Zandt and the place where he first heard the classic country sounds that have inspired and enriched his gentle, melancholy, and undeniably whiskey-soaked sound. In 2014, Tyson released High On Lonesome, his debut EP, which features Kenny Vaughan (Marty Stuart) on electric guitar. The release was featured on and in American Songwriter Magazine, as well as numerous other outlets. Tyson followed that up with Cheaters Wine, a record that received many plaudits in the US. Tyson has recently been opening shows for Dwight Yoakam on the road, in addition to wrapping up a new full-length record which heavily features Robert Ellis on guitar and vocals. In April 2014, Tyson was featured as one of PolicyMic's '9 Real Country Music Stars of Our Generation.' In October 2014, Rolling Stone featured Tyson as one of the '10 New Country Artists You Need To Know.'

'Old school, sad-bastard outlaw country for a new generation of excited country fans' --Rolling Stone

Already making small waves in the US, where he's been labelled a new traditionalist alongside talents like Strurgill Simpson and Caitlin Rose, Cale Tyson is a classic country crooner already a master of tears-in-beer, saudade-laden, pedal-saturated heartbreak waltzes and ballads. This UK release rounds up his two US EPs. There's a level of knowing nostalgia on display, but also genuine songwriting nous and total respect for the genre that enables him to produce self-deprecating gems like the swinging 'Lonesome In Tennessee', the Chuck Berry jive 'Can't Feel Love', the wonderfully woeful 'Not Missin' You' and the stunning, maudlin 'Oaxaca' - 8/10. --Peter Watts, Uncut,

This young man is sensational. One of the most impressive young artists I have heard in a very long time...This could well be one of the most important releases this year - ***** Duncan Warwick, Country Music People, April 2015; This is one of the most authentic and believable albums I've heard in a while. If you miss the days of real, traditional country and western music of the past, this album will help recapture all the memories you thought were relegated to your collection of dusty vinyls - ***** --Megan Gnad, Maverick, July 2015
