John Allred is an American singer-songwriter originally from West Hartford, Connecticut, currently based out of Provo, Utah.

A prolific songwriter having released 7 full length records and 6 EP's since 2004. He has supported Augustana, Ben Folds, Blink 182, Collective Soul, Dashboard Confessional, Matt Nathanson, Parachute, Relient K, Taking Back Sunday, and Third Eye Blind on North American tours. Selling over 100,000 records independently, touring extensively throughout the US and internationally as far as China.

John Allred's follow up to Forest Eyes (2013) produced by Joshua James, is a concept album, entitled Seasons. 12 songs for 12 months of the year.

"Traditionally, most bands record an album over a 2 or 3 week period. It's the most cost effective and makes the most sense. Working out of studios and having my own home recording setup, gave me the opportunity to record each weekend over the course of a year. I was writing and recording songs more like journal entries. Capturing moments and then building on them."

A major theme of the record is mortality. Focussing on the season's of a persons life. The album has a more cinematic feel than Allred's previous releases. Showcasing a 24 piece orchestra and a new band.

Seasons is set to be released February 12th.
