the usual Schwerpunkt on classic-romantic-germanic stuff, these guys are as incapable as the Americans to realise that there is an outside world (e.g.: baroque music, Italian and French music etc.).

Anyway, thanks for that (so partial, so partiel, pseudo-) history of music.
