Julian S. Frampton is an American singer and songwriter born on March 19th, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of legendary rock guitarist and singer Peter Frampton. Early on at the age of 8, Julian’s first instrument of choice would be the drums. Julian attended Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in Miami Beach, Florida. This is where Julian’s path of entertainment would start through in acting and improv. Joining the Star Magnet Program at the age of 14, he won multiple District and State awards during all four years of high school. Julian would also join his first band, Arial Frame, at the age of 15 as the drummer/lead singer.

At the age of 18, Julian went on to pursue acting at SUNY Purchase University in New York. There, he continued to grow as a singer/songwriter. The following year, however, he left SUNY Purchase and moved back to Los Angeles to pursue his musical aspirations.

In early 2009, Julian and Peter Frampton co-wrote a handful of songs together. A few months later Julian would appear on his fathers’ album, Thank You Mr. Churchill. Julian and Peter co-wrote the featured song Road to the Sun. Julian occasionally joins his father on stage at select shows to sing.

In 2011, Julian joined his father to perform Road to the Sun for an episode of the critically acclaimed Guitar Center Sessions. That year, they also performed together on The Jimmy Kimmel Show (not aired) and The Fran Drescher show as well as a few radio shows.

Julian has had the opportunity to record with legendary Matt Cameron, drummer of Sound Garden and Pearl Jam. He has also shared the stage with world acclaimed guitarists such as Dean DeLeo of The Stone Temple Pilots and Rick Nielson from Cheap Trick.

Now in the South Bay of California, Julian continues to write and record music with his bandmate and writing partner, Ben Sheridan. Ben is a multi-genre keyboardist and graduate of Berklee College of Music.

Both Julian Frampton and Ben Sheridan will be opening for Peter Frampton on his upcoming 2015 US Acoustic Tour.

Julian and Ben have been experimenting all across the board within their new duo inspired project. They have recorded some full band tracks in Nashville, Tennessee featuring Julian’s father Peter on lead electric guitar. They also recently recorded some stripped down acoustic recordings in a Los Angeles home studio with just the duo’s vocals, guitar, and keys for a more intimate sound.

When the opportunity arose to open for this acoustic tour, Ben and Julian decided to put out the full-band songs and acoustic songs as a limited one-time hard copy release during the October tour.
