"What a voice! Ethereal. Carrying ancient wisdom. A cross between Alison Krauss and Leigh Nash." -Frances Gary, fan

"There is nothing fake or overdone about Mia Rose Lynne. Her voice is filled with the experience of someone who has been sing true folk/Americana/country all her life... the way Patsy Cline and June Carter wanted it to sound. I would love to see her live in a small club drinking some good moonshine." -Audio Fuzz

"Mia Rose Lynne has been mentioned in the same breath as Alison Krauss, Joni Mitchell and Patty Griffin, and with this debut album [Open Space] she shows she deserves to be in that kind of world-class company." -Paul Liberatore, Marin Independent Journal

Often likened to roots artists such as Alison Krauss, Joni Mitchell, and Patty Griffin, Mia Rose Lynne writes and sings from a place of sincerity and simplicity. In the year following the success of her debut release, OPEN SPACE, Lynne continued to write while playing locally in Nashville and touring to New York, North Carolina, and Ohio. Armed with just her Martin parlor, she honed her unique fingerpicking style and relied on strong vocals, ear-catching melodies, and honest lyrics to hold her own.

A northern California native, Lynne grew up singing harmonies in the family band. She fell asleep in the Winnebago on summer nights to the sounds of campsite jamming at bluegrass festivals. She went on to pursue a career in musical theatre, touring nationally and internationally. Along the way, she found herself in Nashville, where her love for roots music resurfaced and songs seemingly began to write themselves through her. Since her recent move, she has had the opportunity to perform professionally in both Nashville's songwriter and theatre scene and has been both a winner and finalist in the American Songwriting Awards and Hollywood Songwriting Contest songwriting competitions.
