The RoadTrash Band hails from Windsor, the birthplace of Vermont, and brings a very stripped-down and dirty vintage rock 'n' roll sound to venues all over New England. Screaming guitar-slide solos, powerhouse drums, gritty vocals, and booming bass are what this band is known for. This cross-genre band is what RoadTrash interprets as Cowpunk & Thunderboogie, which really comes to life during their grueling live performances. They have numerous slamming original songs and also perform a plethora of hard-hitting rangy and mangy covers you know and love. You will have to hear for yourself.
RoadTrash was formed by drummer-turned-frontman Dan Blaise in 2012, with the goal of writing original rock 'n' roll songs and also taking old obscure country songs and putting a more straight ahead heavy punk rock groove to them. Their major music influences include, but are certainly not limited to, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Social Distortion, Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash. "What you hear on the album is what you get live from us," says Dan. "And if I'm not broken or bloody by the end of the night, then I clearly have not done my job. Sometimes we have to use our stage monitors more as a blockade than a listening device!"
"You motherf*ers are improving the originals!" and "Cowpunk and Thunderboogie glory!" holler the happy, feisty, and inebriated show patrons.
