Besides the amazing, lengthy performance, you get appearances by Susan Tedeschi and Chuck Leavell. This one definitely deserves your attention, as the atmosphere and virtuosity combine for an unforgettable show.
From One very special part of this show was an appearance by former Allman Brother Chuck Leavell on “Jessica.” His long, jazzy solo set the tone for a massive, blockbuster version that brought the house down. Check out the “Mountain Jam” and “In A Silent Way” teases, and the strong solos by Derek and Warren. Chuck also joined the band for “The Weight,” which featured Susan Tedeschi at her soul-testifying best.
