Now based in Lexington, KY, and formerly from New York, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jim Gleason typically shares lead guitar duties in The Johnson Brothers Band and The Sons of the Frigidaires, and plays stunt guitar with The Bats. He has performed with members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (Elvis' drummer DJ Fontana), Country Music Hall of Fame (The Gatlin Brothers), International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Fame (JD Crowe), Kentucky Music Hall of Fame (JP Penington) and Major League Baseball Hall of Fame (Johnny Bench).

His newest original release Last Fish Standing covers a wide range from rock to Americana to Celtic to Bakersfield country, but the unifying themes are lots of snappy guitar and clever wordplay. There's even a Christmas song!

His first solo album, titled Deconstruction Ahead, is an eclectic mix of original music ranging from rock and blues to Western swing and country, with a little gypsy jazz thrown in for good measure.
