For 20 years, Hurricane Road front-man Stevie Agnew has gigged relentlessly around his native Scotland and beyond, gripping audiences with his gravelly baritone, tellingly described as “a cocktail of grit and Drambuie”.

His critically acclaimed debut album “Wreckin’ Yard”, co-written with Hurricane Road drummer, lyricist and producer Chris Smith, reached number 2 in the Euro Americana Chart in December 2013 and was described by top US Americana magazine No Depression as “In the company of the pens of Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Springsteen”.

Featuring long-term collaborators Jimmy Anderson, Chris Agnew, Elaine Shorthouse, Lesley Thompson and Ali Bell; Stevie and the band's UK gigs included the prestigious 2014 Country 2 Country Festival at London’s O2 Arena, and they’ve featured on radio stations worldwide, including America’s NPR Network and the BBC.

The new album “Bad Blood and Whiskey”, due for release in early 2015, delivers the same potent brand of lyrical Americana that propelled Wreckin’ Yard to number 14 in the Freeform American Roots Chart.
