Jeff Otis Brown is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter who hails from Ocean County, New Jersey. His influences are deeply based in the roots of American music and his writings draw heavily from country, rock and blues which provide the background for his rootsy, "Jersey" sound. His songs provide the listener with strong melodies supported by heartfelt lyrics and cover the achievements and struggles of love and life that all can relate to. His powerful voice and rhythmic styles provide the type of raw emotion that an audience can really grab onto, and it is backed by an honesty that proves he has lived those emotions that he shares. His gutsy and aggressive guitar style is a soulful and energetic enhancement to his work and it has developed into a unique, trademark sound over the years.
Jeff Otis Brown actively performs as a solo artist and as a member of one of America’s top independent bands The Cryers, who along with performing their own material, work with many different artists as a touring band. Currently, they perform with John Ford Coley, Denny Laine, formerly of The Moody Blues and Paul McCartney and Wings, and Terry Sylvester, formerly of The Hollies.
