Dustin’s passion for writing and performing country music
stems back to his early childhood. At just 8 years old his Grandfather (Gramps) bought him a yard sale guitar and taught him his first three cords. It turned out to be the seed that would grow into his life’s work. Dustin’s drive and dedication has always been a staple, along with his passion and vision for himself - and his friends in music.

Another thing that he inherited from Gramps was his ability to tell a story. In Dustin Bogue lyrics you’ll find heartfelt and original tales. You will be moved to feel the love, pride, hurt, regret and joys portrayed in his songs. His songwriting skills continue to open doors from Nashville to New York City where he has a song currently playing in the Tony nominated Broadway play “Hand To God”.

Since 2005 db has been diligently building a career and a home in Nashville, Tennessee. A self described “Gypsy”, life on the road has been the norm from the beginning. He lives for the stage, the interaction with the audiences, reunions with old friends and making new ones along the way. Whether playing honky-tonks, small venues, dive bars or big outdoor festivals, he finds total fulfillment in the life of a musician.

In 2009, Dustin joined forces with songwriting partner Andy Brasher to form the duo Brasher/Bogue. It was at this time when Dustin really began to shine as a motivated businessman as well as a musician. His faith in their music, combined with his work ethic, helped to build the brand of the duo and eventually took them across the United States. Among Brasher/Bogue’s many accomplishments, they were selected to play all of the official pre-parties of Kenny Chesney’s “Goin’ Coastal” tour. Additionally, B/B enlisted corporate sponsorships, built a large and passionate fanbase, and played many major live shows with the likes of Kid Rock, Charlie Daniels Band, Hank Williams Jr. to name a few.

Brasher/Bogue concluded in in early 2015 and db immediately began work on his seventh studio album. “Goin’ Home” is a deeply personal collection of tales he has penned about his experiences and the people closest to him. Hit songwriter and recording artist Shannon Lawson is producing the album. “Goin’ Home” will be available for sale or download on July 20, 2015.

Dustin is currently touring the Midwest and Southeast regions when he isn’t playing weekly shows in Nashville with his younger brother Cory Rowe.
