Kelly Keeling isn't a rookie. The singer had already in the 90's some first successes with Baton Rough before he was part of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in the mid of 2000. Also his time with Michael Schenker and John Norum brought the singer more into the focus.

Next to all this Keeling released two solo records till now. 2015 is the year for another Keeling album. "Mind radio" is the name of the disc that comes with pretty good songs. Those tunes have been staged by Alessandro Del Vecchio who signs respnsible for quite some Frontiers releases.

When it comes to the music I can tell you that the album has a high entertaining factor. Sometimes more settled in AOR, like "Frozen in time" and "Isolated man", sometimes more rocking ("This love our paradise" and "Love will tear us apart") Keeling finds the right balance between melodic and hard rocking.

My personal highlights on the album are "Monkey house" and "No man's land". Both tunes belong to the harder ones on the album. "Monkey house" is full of screaming guitars. The tune has an irresistable groove and it seems to be a lot of fun in the 'monkey house'.

The keyboard intro to "No man's land" is a bit misleading since we aren't talking about a soft melodic rocker. The tune has actually a crunchy guitar sound that reminded me to Nightranger.

Keely Keeling delivered with "Mind radio" a cool hardrock album that is catchy and rocking, all in one.
