In a time where everybody wants to become "famous" overnight it is refreshing to find such a talent as Al Tomson and his band who play simply for the love of music. This dynamic band along with Al Tomson's incredible guitar skill and vocals combine as a formidable unit that is full of immotive energy. There's no ego's here - from start to finish, you know that this is all about The Music!

Born in Islington, London in 1956 Al Tomson is a self taught guitarist whose early influences were mainly guitar legends such as Ritchie Blackmore, David Gilmour, Leslie West etc. It wasnt until later in life and after he had moved to Kent that he found inspiration in the Blues. His playing style adapted readily for this finding he was able to express himself more freely and he started listening to more blues music. Setting his trusty Les Paul aside he purchased a Strat which he used solely for the next ten years. Now days, however he uses both guitars and you can definately hear some of those early infuences when the Les Paul is out.
The musicians he has played alongside include- Elmer Gantry, Sherman Robertson, Neil Korner. Trevor Rabin, Dave Murray and of course Dave Neal his drummer who together formed Crossfire - The Blues Band.
