5-foot tall, Aussie songsmith Jenny Biddle wraps herself around a self-made acoustic guitar, and like a marriage between body and instrument she commands her guitar to talk “with uncommon skill and absolute self-assurance” (Syke, 2013). The pocket rocket compels her audience to join her on a voyage of passion, charisma, story in song and some earnestly animated eyebrows.

Jenny’s third album, Hero in Me, was funded by fans and produced by Thirsty Merc’s former guitarist Sean Carey, with Home & Away script writer Rebecca Greensill directing the awkwardly witty Hero in Me Video Clip. After touring her fourth album in the UK and East Coast Australia in 2014, the multi-instrumentalist launched her fifth album this year; a LIVE Album, revealing her most intimate folk nuances and rootsy guitar explosions as she celebrates two decades of guitar playing.

Favouring alternate guitar tunings, Jenny has run workshops in guitar tunings and advanced techniques and songwriting across the country, including at Port Fairy Folk Festival and as the Artist in Residence at Macquarie University.

Her heart-melting single Hindsight HIT #9 in the iTunes Songwriter Charts 2013! To add to her string of awards; she was crowned Melbourne’s Best Busker 2010-2012 and took home the Tamworth Country Music Festival People’s Choice Award at Busking Championship 2012 out of 500+ street performers.
