A popular big blues party band founded some 15 years ago by Sir Jay Еsling and the rock & roll saxophonist Jonas Palm. Both had a strong love for T-Bone Walker's 40s & 50s music and therefore put together a fine group of hard swinging musicians with a genuine feel for this old style blues. The repertoire also consists of influences from people like BB King, Little Milton, Howling Wolf, Charlie Christian and Charlie Parker. Some originals from their well-received cd “Blues for Uncle Sam” are also included in the set list. The band has toured several times in Scandinavia, Germany and The Czech Republic and have played hundreds of clubs and festivals: The Blues Baltica in Eutin, Germany, Prague international Jazz festival & Starapekarna blues club in Brno, Copenhagen Blues festival, Copenhagen Jazz house, Mцnsterеs, Еmеl, Цstersund, Eslцv, Tromsц, Trondheim, Oslo, Stampen in Stockholm Sweden and 13 straight years at The Malmц Festival (Malmц Jazz House).

The band's trademark is to play high energetic numbers spiced up with some crazy and spontaneous battles between Jay's rough guitar and the hard riffing horn section – trading riffs in every tune. A live show with this spontaneous and wild orchestra mean 100% showtime – everytime.

"Sir Jay has a sensational guitar sound with a sharp and edgy tone reminding of Albert Collins. This big blues band is in the same league as people like Duke Robillard. Fine original song as well."
