A Historical Concert to be remember forever. Tony Loeffler, Blues Hall of Fame Artist, Harley Lamoureux, Blues Hall of Fame Artist and Bobby Carcasses, winner of the National Music Award of his lifetime work on the stage together with Fusion Blues and Afrojazz.

Tony Loeffler & Fusion Blues, consisting of Marco DeSciscio - drums, Sammy Mojica - Bass, “Coconut” Harley Lamoureux - Harmonica, Ed Maina - Sax, Curtis Williams - Guitar performed on the same stage with Mr. Bobby Carcasses, a good friend of Tony Loeffler. Together they demonstrated the importance of music in bringing nations together. "Music is the universal language and healing is certainly overdue between our nations.", says Loeffler. This was the first time in 50 years that an American group has performed with a Cuban group in the Famous “Teatro Museo Nacional de Bella Artes", Habana, Cuba. The results were outstanding! Performing with some of Cuba’s greatest artists, Bobby Carcasses - Trumpet, Roberto Carcasses - a famous Keyboard player, Juan Carlos Rojas (Grammy award winner) - Drums, Jesus Recardo Anduz - Trumpet, Cristian Pimentel - Sax, Don “Pancho” Terry - Chequere´, Dayron Rodriguez - Congas, and producer Fernando Leon Jacomino was exceptional. The synergism will be remembered forever.

"There's enough problems in the world and what we need is more unity. We bring a message of healing and restoration to the masses through our music and communication. In a sense, you can call us musical medics. Sometimes we lift up someone's spirit for a day, sometimes for the rest of their life. The unity we experienced on stage with our Cuban musician friends was fantastic and is a lesson to be learned for the world!" Tony Loeffler

During an interview in Cuba I was asked, Do you think that this most recent visit and the exchanges you had with Cuban musicians can open up a new type of exchange between the US and Cuba?

Absolutely! Music has often been referred to as the universal language and naturally brings people together for the best of humanity. I remember performing at the Sur Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland where we had six to nine languages on stage. Musicians could not communicate verbally but musically there was not a problem. Music seems to transcend the world of divisions in some manner. I believe that a musical collaboration can provide a new type of exchange between our nations and it would be great to see some American artists posted on the wall of the Nacional Hotel again like there were in the past.
