The Cabin Project - these are the two singer-songwriters Kira Skov and Marie Fisker. Both have made a name as a solo artist in recent years. In the spring of 2013, she teamed up with Oliver HГёiness (guitar) and Ned Ferm (saxophone) in a "cabin" in the deepest forests of Canada for 9 days, where they carried an album with the legendary engineer and producer Mark Howard, best known his 23-year collaboration with Daniel Lanois (Bob Dylan, Marianne Faithfull, Iggy Pop, Neil Young ...) recordings. The result is a profound, raw and soulful album. Here they break on the classic songwriting.
"It was a wonderful and very special adventure make this record. Marks recording techniques and his inspiration, his ideas, the wild nature around us, the impulsive development within the process and the exchange of ideas as well as live performances ... it was a very intense, challenging and wonderful experience! the voices labyrinth, which you sometimes could not resolve during the recordings, acted as a 'Inspiration mirror' and as a unifying melting pot! "Kira Skov says in retrospect. (google)
