Review by Scott Yanow:
This rare LP features the underrated clarinetist Tony Scott and a particularly strong quartet (which includes guitarist Mundell Lowe, bassist Jimmy Garrison and drummer Pete LaRoca) performing nine selections from the play Gypsy; surprisingly "Let Me Entertain You" is missing. The Jule Styne score contains quite a few viable vehicles for jazz improvising and Tony Scott is heard in fine form on such numbers as "I Had a Dream," "Some People," "You'll Never Get Away from Me" and "Everything's Coming up Roses." But this worthy album will be a difficult one to locate.

01. I Had a Dream (Sondheim-Styne) - 2:53
02. Some People (Sondheim-Styne) - 3:10
03. Small World (Sondheim-Styne) - 3:25
04. Little Lamb (Ballad) (Sondheim-Styne) - 2:24
05. Little Lamb (Rhythm) (Sondheim-Styne) - 3:43
06. You'll Never Get Away from Me (Sondheim-Styne) - 3:31
07. Cow Song (Sondheim-Styne) - 1:57
08. Everything's Coming Up Roses (Sondheim-Styne) - 3:47
09. Together Wherever We Go (Sondheim-Styne) - 4:06
10. Rose's Turn (Sondheim-Styne) - 3:43
