Ian Saddler's Louisiana compilations have bopped, bluesed and R&B'd around various bayous - and now he turns his attention to that other great Louisiana musical tradition swamp pop. 14 of the 28 tracks are previously unreleased, while the others are not exactly easy to find. All come from some of Louisiana's most famous independent producers: Floyd Soileau's Jin, Eddie Shuler's Goldband and JD Miller and Carol Rachou's plethora of exotic label-names. Features some of Swamp Pop's biggest names Johnnie Allan, John Fred, Jivin Gene and Warren Storm. Swamp Pop's two distinctive styles tear-jerkers or happy rockers all have that South Louisiana sound.

Thank you for the music... it's a pity we don't have the booklet or/and the back cover.
