LA Drivers is the result of two childhood friends, Mario Garcia-Cruz and Jim Freligh who told each other that someday, when they grow up ( yeah, like THAT's gonna happen), they would record an album. Although most of it was written in the past 2 years, the song "Bernardo" was actually penned way back in early High School as an homage to one of their friends. This album features straight ahead rock, blues, shuffles, surf, and heavy metal influences. Lord in the Machine gets it's name from several strange happenings that occurred while recording this album after the band did a shuffle remake of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water around the same time as the passing of Deep Purple's keyboardist Jon Lord...Great music to listen to while driving to Vegas, working around the house, or just for gettin' yer mojo back...
