I live in the North West of England and these are my first albums where I sing and play all my own songs. It’s been a long time coming but here it is. It’s certainly been some time since I wrote the songs on ‘The Time In-between’ and ‘That Was Yesterday’ yet somehow now seems the right time to reach out to a wider audience with them.

Songs have always been the thing for me. I’ve spent a lot of time listening to songs, looking out for new songs and of course writing my own songs. The songs on ‘The Time In-between’ album are just me singing, playing the guitar and occasionally playing the piano, minimalistic I guess, but that’s the way I wanted it,cathartic maybe. However there are alternative versions of 2 of the songs that I’ve put on a single with electric guitar, percussion, bass and accordion.

The album ‘That was Yesterday’ is my latest one and is quite a bit different to ‘The Time In-Between’.
My good friend Bryn Ford produced the album and played many instruments on it too. He is an excellent musician and I’m lucky to have him on board. It’s taken us about 2 years off and on to make but I feel it’s been really worth it. I also have a new single ‘Coming into Alonnisos’ which will be on the website later this month. It’s about a Greek island I’ve visited several times over the last few years and I do believe it has a bit of a Greek flavour to it!

I’ve been playing most of these songs live around the pubs and acoustic nights where I live in the NW of England for the past 2 years. I didn’t realise there was such a vibrant scene for this type for music but there is.
