SOUTH Africa’s national treasurer, Brian Finch, will launch his new CD in an intimate style at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November.

Recorded at Peace of Eden Studios in Knysna with Howard Butcher producing, this is Brian’s 13th album to date and has been two to three years in the making.

Brian said the CD follows many requests from fans wanting to listen to a new album. “While living in the solitude of Prince Albert in the Karoo, I have been writing songs over the past couple of years, in between touring and performing. One needs new material and I love coming up with new songs, it’s what my life is all about – being able to share special moments gives me great satisfaction and I cannot wait for the response from my fans. The years are flying by so fast, I realise that all my songs are about Living for Yesterday, hence the title. I have dedicated this album to the memory of the late great guitarist and friend, Mr Ken E Henson, RIP my brother.”
