To listen to the songs of a multitude of country artists, you might think life consisted exclusively of tailgate parties, tan lines, and getting tanked on a Saturday night.

But, what makes Zach Paxson’s music stand out from the rest is both his refreshing and relevant connection to America’s working class and reverence for a seemingly “old school” notion of integrity – artistic and personal.

By no means devoid of the ability to appeal to a variety of listeners, there’s most certainly a little something for everyone, including the occasional party song. Whether delighting a girl’s inner tomboy with “Hick Chicks,” rallying in celebration with “Recipe for a Party,” or getting silly with “Honkey Donkey,” Paxson understands what makes his audience tick and he never falls short on delivering.

Equal parts talent, gumption, and charisma have contributed to the evolution of this extraordinary musician who lives a surprisingly ordinary life. A triple-threat amassing the talents necessary to write, sing, and perform, Zach Paxson is best identified by his relation to the everyday in building a legacy will ultimately be born from his impact as a friend, father, and trade carpenter. It is from his amassed experiences in these roles that Zach has written a storehouse of music and lyrics that appeal to the majority of Americans – those who work, laugh, love, and sometimes struggle.

As embraced as he is inspired by the blue-collar community of his hometown of Lisbon, Ohio, Zach has drawn from real-life events and interactions in writing songs such as “Simple Life” and “Ohio,” which is currently under consideration as the official country song of the state (House Bill 330) and was originally released on his debut album, Good Luck With That.

Zach's latest release, Twenty-Four/Seven, is a follow up to his two two studio albums Good Luck With That (2011) and Simple Life (2012). The extended EP features the single "I Work," released on Labor Day as a free download in honor of the hard working men and women of America.

“’I Work’ is not just a song I sing; it's the life I live. I know what it’s like to have a sore back and an empty wallet at the end of a work week, and I know a lot of other people do, too. I want them to know they are appreciated,” said Paxson. “I decided to offer this digital EP for free for the first seven weeks so that everyone, regardless of expendable income, could have it and enjoy it. I have been blessed with the gift of music. I want to pay that gift forward.”
