“Colours Of The Night (Satellite)’ is Peter Broderick’s first song- based release in two years, during which the singer-songwriter- composer-multi-instrumentalist and serial collaborator was struck down by a debilitating illness that forced him to re- evaluate his life. Here, in his own words, is what Peter has to say about it: “Folks! I am very excited to announce a forthcoming EP on the Bella Union label. ‘Colours Of The Night (Satellite)’ is a preview of what’s to come on my next full-length album, due out next spring, simply called ‘Colours Of The Night’. The satellite is a collection of material that revolves around the album. It contains two versions of the title track: one from a recent session in Luzern, Switzerland - where the rest of the album was recorded, along with a fantastic cast of local musicians there - and another version recorded and dubbed out by my good friend Greg Haines in Berlin. Plus a few other tracks that didn’t quite make it onto the album. ‘Colours Of The Night’ is a song that I’ve been playing for years at my solo concerts and many times people have asked me where they can find the recording of that song. Finally I have an answer. it’s right here!…"
