"From My Living Room" is an intimate gathering of friends clearly having fun reshaping musical gems, revisiting them with a free spirit, off the beaten track.

The studio musical concept started back in 2011. With the help of music engineer/multimedia consultant Ben Carr, Michael Mansour progressively shaped the project and brought it to maturity.

Recorded live in a Montreal loft, the sessions were recorded in a way that captured the essence of Michael's innovative arrangements.

A huge part of the recording’s musicianship belongs to these great players :

Bassist Claude Sacre; who is very active as an arranger in the French musical scene since the 80's. Beside being frequently sollicited as a bass player, Claude is a multi-instrumentist who has worked with Gabriel Yared, Enzo Enzo and many more.

Nicolas Gorge : famous French percussionist having worked and toured with major french pop stars, (e.g. Johnny Halliday). He is reknowned for his unmatched organic feel and his perc body slams.

Gaston Gagnon; who is known in Canada as lead guitarist for the band Garolou, has performed in such places as the Nyon Folk Festival in Switzerland, the Montreal International Jazz Festival and the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New-York.

André Grondin, harmonicist extraordinaire, having contributed to the albums : Around Sonny Boy Williamson, Touch Of Cream (tribute to Cream), and also recently appearing in the album: Quebec Zen (New Age essential music). André is also well known in the Montreal blues scene where he has frequently appeared.

Michael Mansour on vocals and guitar, known as The Doc, is the producer and music director of The FML Room Concept. He also produced MG Blues's “Around Sonny Boy Williamson” and the more recent tribute to Cream: “Touch Of Cream”.
