I released my fifth CD, "The Alabama Sessions" on the VizzTone Label Group. Actually, it is a 5-song EP, and incredible special and important to me for so many reasons, one of which being it's the first CD I produced entirely on my own. And that's a big deal for me.
Amidst the hurricane-intense roller coaster ride that was this past year, I packed my bags and moved from Philadelphia to Nashville by myself to start a new life. Though scary at first, I have fallen in love with Music City and am so happy with my decision to relocate to such an amazing place.

Back in January of this year I had the opportunity to travel two hours south of Nashville to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where I recorded "The Alabama Sessions" at The Nutt House Recording Studio in one magical, exciting, and gratifying weekend. This experience was like no other. I brought in five new songs I had written--all deeply personal in their own way, and all vastly different from any music I'd written or recorded in the past. Each musician involved played and sang their heart out. I left Alabama that weekend holding in my hand, what turned out to be my declaration of independence, and a symbol of triumph and survival.
