Review from RateYourMusic:
The Strawberry Alarm Clock's regular albums were recorded between 1967 and 1969. The Strawberry Alarm Clock have a sound I had been searching for back in 1970/71. Somewhere between The Friends Of Distinction, Burt Bacherach, The Fifth Dimension, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Mamas & The Papas ... tag it psychedelic off-mainstream Pop-Soul.
Where were they? Where was I? I certainly discovered them much too late. Today, this trip sounds a bit childish, however, this anthology is like a reference book for those active in the contemporary indie-Pop scene.
