London based French born singer Sophie Delila has written for artists such as Rumer and Duffy. She has toured with the likes of Mika and Lionel Richie and appears on Jeff Beck's soon to be released solo album.
Her new solo album is a mix of finely crafted pop songs that should be played on the radio. She could really do with touring again with a major artist whose audience would take to her.
The album opens up with Thrill 4U, the track could be Lily Allen as the track is a quirky little number whilst Bound To Fall sounds like a big hit as does What Did I Do.
Judie Tzuke has co-written the track Letters with Delila and rather than sounding like one of Tzuke's tracks, it sounds contemporary. It is what The Saturdays would sound like if they wanted to become more mature!
She even visits the dancefloor with If I Should Die Tonight, the closing track on the album. It sounds like Pharrell Williams has had an influence on her at some point.
