Traditional jazz guitar trio reflecting not only the artist's voice but also the influences of the early jazz greats.

Michael Anthony has been playing guitar professionally since 1960. He has recorded with Tony Bennett, Nelson Riddle, Andy Williams, Henry Mancini, The Beach Boys, Diana Ross and Burt Bacharach. Michael worked on The Carol Burnett Show and The Sonny and Cher Show. Michael also worked on the movies Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head) Lady Sings the Blues, starring Diana Ross, and Sweet Charity, starring Shirley MacLaine, to name a few.
His jazz credits include—The Gil Evans Orchestra, accompanying Miles Davis at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Quincy Jones, JJ Johnson, Blue Mitchell and Neal Hefty.
Michael has two instructional jazz books published by Mel Bay: "The Ultimate Map for Jazz Guitar " and “ Warm Ups for Jazz Guitar." He is also a contributing editor for Just Jazz Guitar Magazine. Michael has released 10 CDs. He is currently on staff at The University of New Mexico, where he teaches Jazz Guitar Studies.
