The Los Angeles soulful rock band deliver a high emotional standard for their sophomore album. The record was produced by Grammy Award winner Ken Wallace, and showcases classic American blues-influenced rock at its finest

When listening on, I begin to like the The Disparrows music very much. Their abilities are showcased throughout, the quirky, powerful guitars really speak to me. The riffs are infectious, the old style sound really works for this time period. When delving thoroughly, I find gems, carved out by talented hands.

The Disparrows music has been moulded and tweaked to fit a perfect platform. Their sincerity and compassion is relentless, their ambitions are heard. I love what I hear, the organic euphony, the provocative blast of rock, that is drenched in a sweet innocence. Their music Is what you will hear in your nearest rock bar and there is nothing wrong with that. The band should embrace it, the fans will come rolling in, and they’ll be enthralled by the music of this band.

The bands new record ‘Making Others Rich’ starts with ‘Detroit City’ which offers an infusion of purified rock. The solo contained will blow away the cobwebs of your musical horizon. The guitars are premium, played with bite and power. ‘Cry For Me’ commences with a more mellower tone, then the vocals pounce in like a lion onto unsuspecting prey. The lyrics are poetic and true, this band embark on finding truth amongst a series of lies.

‘Come The Morning Time’ opens with a quirky riff, the drums are played casually. The contagious guitar sequence is played throughout. ‘Drive Me Home’ is about love, its downfalls and its attachment. The guitar riff contained is pleasing. ‘Lose It All’ is soft and tender, the lyrics showcase the bands talents immensely.

The Disparrows is an act that are slowly bubbling in the underground, awaiting their true status to be unveiled. Listen to ‘Making Others Rich’ to see why they’re so brilliant.
