This last album of ONJ under the direction of Daniel Yvinec therefore announces end of Party for the producer-bassist-bandleader after more than 200 concerts and eight different programs under his direction since 2008. Directory of this 4th installment is decidedly pop and funky, nostalgic nod to the 70s and 80s, synthesizers gently nibbling the ground to melt the orchestra. Flutist Joce Mienniel is shared with its analogue MS80, saxophonist Matthieu Metzger blows his vocodeuse SysTalk Box, saxophonist-clarinetist Antonin-Tri Hoang tapping on his Roland SH101, pianist (well prepared) Eve Risser has offered a harpsichord electrical Baldwin and Vincent Lafont naturally perpetuates its keyboardists virtuosity. Add a power trio formed by Pierre Perchaud guitar, Sylvain Daniel on bass and drums Yoann Serra, more swift tenor Remi Dumoulin and trumpet with or without slide Sylvain Bardiau and the orchestra is complete! Michael Leonhart, co-designer directory, plays, among others, the trumpet alongside the leader-producer-director Yvinec. We fortunately did not cut the eponymous music Mancini for the film The Party, and except number of original "how to" pieces, you are entitled to punchy versions of Requiem for a cunt Gainsbourg and Colombier, Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime James Warren, I'm Geraldine Jean-Claude Vannier, Once In A Lifetime Talking Heads and Strawberry Letter 23, written by Shuggie Otis in 1977 and became a mega hit of the disco era.
