The question isn't is this a good album, but rather should Uber Rock really be reviewing it?

Whilst the current crop of Psychedelic, grooved-up space cadets are running wild and gaining a more than decent reputation – especially the more hippy, trippy, slower musings of bands such as fellow Scandinavians Spids Nogenhat and Baby Woodrose – the lower end, less rocking cousins, such as this album from The Movements (bordering on pop culture with hints of drugs) may get left behind in the rock/pop/folk, 'who's reviewing it?' pigeonhole debate.

Imagine The Magic Numbers taking a few too many ‘shrooms and you’re half way there. In fact, that’s pretty much it.

Hints of Dylan, folk and ’60s pop geniuses such as Scott McKenzie and Donovan backed up with a constant lo-fi barrage of drums and mellow lyrics seep and ebb into your psyche as they delve in and out of your consciousness. It may not have the most instantly hook ridden songs but if you’re in the mood for mellow, background genius, then you’d be hard pushed to beat this. Put yourself in a place where the world floats by and no-one is important and as you lie there with thoughts of only yourself and the universe.... 'Like Elephants 2' is the soundtrack to that moment.

It’s the perfect album to stick on in the background and soak up and, before you know it, The Movement will have taken you over and they'll be on Jools Holland as the token cool band lapping up the praise of Chris Martin, Mark Knopfler and Katy B.

It ain’t rock but it ain’t bad at all....
