International acclaimed Blues Musician, Bobbie Mercy Oliver was born October 28, 1939 to the parentage of Claude and Mary Oliver in Atlanta ,Texas. The Oliver's were the proud parents of twelve children, all were musically enclined, often playing more than one instrument. The Oliver's . Bobbie Oliver has shared the stage with many icons such as Keb Mo', Willie Clayton, Marvin Sease, Donnie Ray, Pine Top Perkins, Blues Boy Willie, Tim Harmon, Remona Smith, and Roosevelt Twitty. He has been booked on the Bentonia, MS, Blues Festival, The T-Bone Walker Blues Festival , The Water-Melon Festival, The Las Woda Blues Festival in Poland. Odies' House of Blues with Mike Dollan band in, Hot Springs, Arkansas and BB"s Lawnside Bar-B-Que in Kansas City MO, as special guest ofThe Frank Ace Band. Bobbie has competed in many Battles of the Bands, never winning but coming close.

Bobbie toured the USA in 2011 with stops in Little Rock, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Chicago, Illinois , where he had lived in Chicago and began his first blues band, Oliver's Trio, with his sister, Mary on Bass, his wife at that time, Cleo, on drums. Bobbie played Harmonica, second lead and sang the blues. He lived there until his marriage ended and he returned to Atlanta, Texas until the year 1993. He was hired by his brother at Oliver's Air in Marshall, Texas. The job with his brother brought him and his wife, Eva, together when her AC Unit failed.

Bobbie told Eva that he had a band in Chicago and sung a song by his favorite, Jimmy Reed she instantly feel for him. She bought a Red Guitar for him and the rest is history. Bobbie played his One Man Band Act until his new band was formed with two brother's, Eddie and Kenny Robbins. Eddie was on drums and percussions, Kinny was on Congo and percussions instruments. Bobbie bought a bass guitar and taught his step-son, Anthony Lee, to play bass. Soon his step-son had a family and had to stop playing. Bobbie taught his nephew, Kevin Turner to play bass and Kevin remained with the band for a number of years.

Mercy, as he is affectionately called by fans, toured Europe in 2012 including many cities in Poland, and Berlin, Germany. He was one of the headliner bands at the Las Woda Blues festival and was told by the organizer he would be back in 2013 where a band will be waiting.

Bobbie toured Europe in 2013 for six weeks where he played on the Las Woda Blues Festival in May. He was booked for a one week tour with the famed Dr. Bluesa aka Kryst of Poland, during this tour music video's and recordings were created. He played with the band Typsy Drivers at the jazz club. He was also invited to play with legendary Adam and subsequently a music video was created. He was invited back for November 2013 but had to decline until next year 2014.
