The Dismemberment Plan are back in full force. After a ten-year run beginning in 1993, the band broke up in 2003. In 2007, they staged a pair of benefit reunion shows, before coming together for a full-on reunion tour in 2011. (A reissue of their landmark 1999 album Emergency & I also came out in 2011.)

Now, the band have finally shared details of their first full-length studio LP since 2001's Change. It's called Uncanney Valley and it's out October 15 via Partisan. (Yes, "uncanney" is purposefully misspelled.)

The album was produced by J. Robbins and mixed by Paul Kolderie at Magpie Cage in Baltimore. (UPDATE: Robbins recorded the album. It was produced by Jason Caddell and the Dismemberment Plan. It was recorded at Magpie Cage, but mixed by Kolderie at home.) Song titles include "Invisible", "Lookin", "Waiting", "Mexico City Christmas", and "Daddy Was a Real Good Dancer". (UPDATE: Check out the tracklist below.) The D-Plan played some of these songs live last summer. Watch performances of "Mexico City Christmas" and "Daddy Was a Good Dancer" below. Also below, check out the band's upcoming tour dates.

"We never psyched ourselves out and thought, ‘NOW we're making a Plan record," said guitarist Jason Caddell in a press release. "It was more like stay calm and play on." Frontman Travis Morrison added, "We weren't going to get anything good unless we could trick ourselves into staying in that place where it was creativity for its own sake. It was a real blessing and opportunity to be in that space again without thinking we had a product to deliver."
