In November 2002, she released her full-length debut CD, "dreams do come true", receiving positive reviews and accolades: "I met Janine when she asked me to play harmonica on her CD, I only play on projects I believe in so I had a lot of questions...she sent me a rough copy of her record and I was floored by both her voice and the unique and refreshing approach to these timeless American Jazz Classics.

Her interpretations and phrasing along with top notch arranging and orchestrating made this a project I am [was] proud to be part of. Kudos to Janine on a captivating debut." (Rob Paparozzi, Harmonica Player, October 2002. Rob Paparozzi has performed with artists such as Cindy Lauper, Bruce Springsteen, Bobby McFerrin, and Lauryn Hill.
