Henrik Freischlader has conquered in three years with over 500 concerts and three successful CDs his place at the top of the blues scene. By some music critics predicted early in his career, Henrik is now exactly where he always wanted to be. Free suppression DERs debut album, The Blues, set the standard for all German Blue albums (Home of Rock). With the Nachfolfer Get Closer, he delivered the milestone of German Blue Rock (Home of Rock). The live album with 26 songs was just terrific (RockTimes) ... and now us this workaholic of the musical creative process presents its fourth CD Henrik Freischlader - recorded by Martin My Schaefer on which he played all the instruments himself. What one believes at times to hear as first-takes of a fantastic rehearsed band, based on an ingenious homogeneity of the individual instruments. Musically, the blues, the foundation on which Freischlader creates thirteen original compositions with influences from rock, soul, funk, jazz, country and pop. Bass, drums and organ create a rousing Groove carpet for the guitar solos, the voice varies always close to the superb own texts. What an all-rounder! Another pleasure and certainly a key type of the album (hence the title) is the truly superior sound quality. With old tube microphones, large audible spaces, moving air, and with the so important understanding of the natural timbre of instruments managed Martin My Shepherd in his megaphone recording studios by a warm sound of the charm of the old recordings from the 60s and 70s to revive. The CD presents itself technically sound at the highest level. According to Henrik Freischlader this album is exactly what he always wanted to do. A must-have, then, not only for his fans!
